Mark Barnhart, Recruiting Director

Mark Barnhart is the director of recruiting at HRD Advisory Group. Mark received a Bachelor of Arts from Miami University and is a Certified Personnel Consultant. Additionally, he is a Certified Employee Retention Specialist (CERS). With the CERS designation, Mark is one of a select group of recruiting and staffing professionals nationwide who are certified to advise clients on specific recommendations to help find and retain top talent.

Mark is the co-founder and president of the Circle City Foundation, a 501c3 which helps raise funds for children’s healthcare. He is past president of the Indiana Search and Staffing Association and currently serves as the Chairman of the board for the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS). He serves his clients with these strengths:

Excellence. Mark assists clients in identifying and placing quality personnel and provides executive recruitment and placement services to his clients, including technical and executive search, market research, client-specific database creation and maintenance, and recruitment consulting.

Ethics. Mark was the recipient of the 2015 Norbert I. B. Fried Ethics Award from the National Association of Personnel Services. Under Mark’s leadership, his firms have also been recognized for outstanding ethical business practices: Awarded the BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics four times, the BBB Quality Award once, named a semi-finalist in the BKD Indiana Quality Improvement awards twice, and named a finalist in the BBB International Torch Awards competition.

Experience. Prior to joining HRD Advisory Group, Mark co-founded two successful and award-winning search firms. He has more than 25 years of experience serving numerous clients across a diverse group of industries and markets.
