Steve Grow, COO
A seasoned executive coach and advisor, Steve Grow has the experience and insight to take his clients to the next level. That insight has been honed through decades of hands-on experience at U.S. and international organizations, including startups, turnarounds, acquisitions, rapid-growth and Fortune 500 companies. Thousands of leaders and their direct reports have enjoyed the measurable benefits of Steve’s unflinching commitment to their success.
At HRD Advisory Group, Steve leads the organizational development and executive coaching practice areas. An executive coach long before it was popular to be a coach, Steve is known for his warm manner and deft skill at navigating organizational culture.
Steve brings value to his clients with:
Insight: Steve helps clients identify what’s on their radar, determine why it’s important and develop a plan of action. He coaches leaders to recognize their triggers—and manage them. The “how” of communications is just as important as the “what,” he says.
Innovation: People are an organization’s greatest asset, and Steve is a master at understanding, managing and leading them. His creative approach helps clients see who they are, how they relate to their team, and how their team impacts the organization as a whole. This leads to observable behavioral changes and positive business impact.
Integrity: A natural leader both at work and in his personal life, Steve has a passion for developing people and improving organizations. He goes out of his way for clients, from C-suite executives to frontline staff. Steve’s clients enjoy the experience of working with him, thanks to his flexibility, listening skills and accessible style. As one client reports: “Working with Steve is always fun and enlightening. I always look forward to talking with him.”
When he’s not coaching and consulting, Steve enjoys spending time with his young grandson, his children, and his wife of 42 years. He likes nothing more than spending a day on the lake with family.
