Annie Smith

Office Manager
As the Office Manager for HRD Advisory Group, Annie maintains office operations and procedures. In addition to general office management, she oversees bookkeeping, human resources and payroll. When working with clients and vendors, Annie prides herself on providing prompt and courteous service. “I believe,” she says, “that prompt service shows that you value those with whom you work.” In addition, her sense of humor and easy-going attitude help her achieve her goal of “making someone smile every day.”

Annie’s extensive experience in the nonprofit sector has prepared her to work efficiently across several disciplines. She began her career by providing direct services to youth. This led to other opportunities in the non-profit sector, including program and event planning, adult education and fundraising.

From there, she moved into a leadership role as the executive director of a small nonprofit organization where she managed office operations, worked closely with a board of directors and bolstered office infrastructure. This experience enables Annie to provide a high level of service to both clients and staff.

Annie has always believed in helping others and continues to do so by volunteering for various community organizations. She has served as a board member for the Indiana Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America, an event volunteer for the Indiana Sports Corporation and a scout leader for both girls and boys. Currently, she volunteers for the BMW professional golf championships whenever it is in the Indianapolis area. “I bring this service mindset to work with me every day.”
